The groom’s party is almost as important as the bridal party. Their biggest job is to make sure that the groom looks fantastic beside his bride. Generally, groom’s tuxedo can be black, white or gray, but for 2011, gray is swiftly becoming the color of choice.
Popular gray tuxedos aren’t limited to just one shade or style. Everything is in, from the darkest charcoal grays to pale grays. This means a lot of great tuxedo styles to choose from, for the groom and his groomsmen. Here are a few trends in arranging the ideal groomsmen and wedding party.
- Want the groom and bride to pop in wedding photos? Have the groomsmen in a completely different color – matching the bridesmaids – while the groom matches the bride.
- Include the patriarchs in the party. More weddings are including the father and grandfather as part of the groomsmen in matching tuxedos. A great touch to the family photos for the day!
- For upcoming spring and summer wedding styles, many grooms choose a lighter colored tuxedo styles. White tuxedoes are always in fashion for a summer beach wedding.
